Megan Moores was born in Indiana, but turned in her Midwesterner badge when she moved south to Arkansas at age 11. She has a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and a master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Arkansas. 

Megan has worked as an English teacher, a freelance editor, a ghostwriter, an HR analyst, and a small-business owner. She is an avid reader and a genre-jumper who has special affection for romance, Nordic Noir, police procedurals, and Southern Gothic novels.

Megan regained her Midwesterner status when she moved back to Indiana where she lives with her husband, four children, four cats, a lonely fish, and one giant Labrador Retriever.
